The SAN diego open

The San Diego Open is a WTA 500 event featuring the best professional women’s tennis talent in the world. While we have been graced by the presence of stars such as Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Ons Jabeur, Maria Sakkari, Bia Haddad-Maia and many more, this event is about so much more than tennis. With daily player Q&A’s, special mental strength talks, Celebrity matches, and incredible VIP experiences in a beautiful setting with magical sunsets, it’s an event that should be on your calendar every February!

  • Individual session VIP tickets (N. Baseline seating with all inclusive hospitality, VIP restrooms and parking (parking included with purchase of at least 2 seats) can be purchased.

    Weeklong VIP Ticket Packages include the best seats & on-site parking to every session. Some options also include all-inclusive hospitality (as well as VIP only restrooms!) in the VIP Lounge.

    How do I get VIP Parking if I purchased VIP tickets?

    • If you purchase two or more North Baseline VIP tickets, or South Box VIP tickets, the parking pass will automatically be put in your ticket account before the session.

  • A private chalet style viewing experience, with all inclusive hospitality for between 12 and 72 people, is located above the North Baseline seats. This seating experience is the perfect opportunity to entertain clients, host a team building event or fundraiser. Tickets include covered, baseline seats, private access to VIP including all-you-can eat catering and beverages and VIP only restrooms. Chalet ticket prices vary, depending on the day & session.

    Bring the whole team, the whole family, or a large group of friends to watch the best tennis in the world! General Group ticket sales (10+ tickets) receive 15% off.

  • Barnes Tennis Center is located in Point Loma San Diego. Hotel Circle in Mission Valley is about 7 minutes from the facility, and downtown is about 10 minutes. There are a number of hotels in the area that will provide a quick and convenient route to the venue. Book early! Hotels in this area are sure to sell out for the week of the tournament.

  • No personal outside food or beverages are allowed.

    Water bottles are allowed but must be emptied prior to event entry. Water refill stations will be available.

    There will be a limit of one bag per person admitted into the Barnes Tennis Center. All bags are subject to a complete and thorough search. The Barnes Tennis Center will not provide a storage area for these items. Please be conscious of your bags at all times and do not leave them unattended. Any unattended bags will be removed.

  • What is the rain policy?

    A:  We hope to get all matches in, and if matches get moved to another day, we will let ticket holders in from the scheduled day with GA tickets, but there are no refunds.

  • When do gates Open?

    • Gates Open 1 hour before matches start every day.

    When will sessions end?

    • It is impossible to know as we do not know how long each match will take, but usually the evening

Women & Wellness

Every year, we are proud to continue our "Women & Wellness" program to educate, inspire and empower girls and women of all ages. We are honored that two San Diego-based companies - ResMed and Rady Children's Hospital - are joining us in this effort. By supporting the event, every ticket buyer, host committee member and sponsor is also a part of making a difference in the lives of females around the region by empowering them to take control of their health.
