San Diego Open
We’re thrilled to welcome tennis fans back to Barnes Tennis Center for another incredible year of the San Diego Open! This year’s tournament will feature both the ATP 100 Men’s Challenger and the W100 Women’s Event, running side by side for an action-packed week of world-class tennis. Qualifying rounds begin January 26, with the main draws taking place January 26 – February 1. Join us as top men’s and women’s players from around the world compete right here in America’s Finest City! The 2026 San Diego Open will make San Diego sports history as it will mark the highest-level men’s and women’s tennis tournaments to be played concurrently in the same venue.
Ticket Sessions
The 2026 San Diego Open returns to Barnes Tennis Center for a full week of world-class tennis, featuring the Men’s ATP Challenger 100 and Women’s W100 tournaments side by side. Qualifying begins Monday, January 26 (free entry on outer courts), with main-draw play running January 27 – February 1.
Daily options Tuesday–Saturday:
Grounds Pass (GA): outer-court access all day
Reserved Seating: Stadium/Center Court seat + grounds access
VIP Add-On: upgrade available in limited quantities
Finals Day (Sunday, Feb 1): Reserved Seating only (no GA / no outer-court play).
Youth 17 & under receive free GA outer-court access Tuesday–Saturday with a ticketed adult. Group packages may be available for select sessions.

What You Can Bring / Venue Policies
Food & Beverage
No personal outside food or beverages are allowed inside Barnes Tennis Center.
Bags & Security
Only clear bags are permitted. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags must not exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
Small purses/clutches are permitted (approximately hand-sized). Larger bags are not allowed.
Opaque bags, backpacks, totes, duffel bags, and fanny packs are not allowed.
Medical and infant-care bags are permitted and will be screened separately.
All bags are subject to a thorough search at entry, and there is no on-site storage for prohibited or extra items. Please keep your bag with you at all times; any unattended bags will be removed.
Prohibited Items
For safety and guest comfort, certain items are not permitted, including weapons, glass or metal cans, hard coolers, drones/noisemakers, and professional photo or video equipment without media credentials. Policies may be updated, so please check back before arriving.
Media / Photographer / Creator Info
The San Diego Open welcomes media coverage from accredited press, photographers, videographers, and approved content creators. Credentials are limited and issued on a per-event basis, with all applicants required to submit a credential request and supporting materials by the published deadline. Approval is not guaranteed, and late requests are considered only if space remains.

Ball Kids

Free on-site parking is available Monday–Thursday at the Barnes Tennis Center.
For Friday–Sunday, a limited number of paid on-site parking passes are available and expected to sell out; otherwise, guests can use free off-site parking with shuttle service (the only way to park on-site Fri–Sun is with a paid pass).

When do gates Open?
Gates Open 1 hour before matches start every day.
